2010.....
WOW! what a roller coaster of a ride this whole year has been....busy busy little bees we artists are! This whole year was full of ups and downs, trials and tribulations,as an artist and a person I have seen myself grow, as i am forever a student and much more work is ahead of me, but i must not get comfortable. Overall it was a great year, had a lot of bumps and bruises along the way but no one ever said the road was gonna be easy, what or where this next year has in store for me ? i do not know, but i will be ready with a paint brush and a pencil in hand!

these past few months i feel like im growing as an artist, persistence and hard work always pays off in the end, the feeling of self-gratification is great! but i must not get comfortable as my journey as an artist is nowhere close to the end, im excited to see where the next year will take me! if its a life as a starving artist or a rich one so be it!

as of late ive been finding it really hard to stay positive and focus on my goals, ive been trying to change my way of thinking, the road of an artist is hell but you have to enjoy the journey and be confident with your skills and endeavors if you want to succeed, where will this next year take me? i have no clue but i will try to enjoy the journey and not the end result.

Sometimes you need a break from your studies, this quarter was really hard for me to stay focus on my craft, but i stuck through it and saw my art really improve. With that being said, i just got back from San Diego with my friends who came out here for a visit from Boston. Had a great 3 days! Great food, great people, beautiful weather and very scenic city, cant wait to go back!
